France generates a higher share of its electricity from nuclear power than almost any other country in the world, which means the grid a French Okuma machine draws from tends to run on a genuinely stable, consistent baseload rather than the more variable mix common elsewhere. That’s a small but real point in favor of predictable electronics behavior — voltage and frequency instability caused by grid variability simply isn’t a significant factor here the way it can be in some markets.

Geography is the bigger practical variable. Alsace and Lorraine sit close enough to Germany that on-site visits are genuinely convenient, similar to how we support customers directly on the border elsewhere.
